Cookie policy

This policy describes the cookies and similar technologies Menytorget uses at app.menytorget.se and on restaurant sites (.menytorget.se and custom domains). Draft – to be reviewed before general availability.*

Only strictly necessary cookies

Menytorget uses no cookies for marketing, cross-site tracking or third-party advertising. That is why no consent banner is shown: under the Swedish Electronic Communications Act, cookies that are necessary for a service the user has requested do not require consent.

Cookies at app.menytorget.se (the portal)

• mt_session – keeps you signed in. Holds a random key (not your details). Lasts 90 days and renews as you use the portal. httpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Lax.
• mt_tenant – which restaurant you last chose if you belong to several. Same lifetime as mt_session.
• mt_impersonation – only while Menytorget support is signed in as your restaurant at your request; expires automatically.
• mt_oauth – for ten minutes during Google sign-in, to protect against forged sign-in responses.

On restaurant sites

Restaurant sites set no cookies. With online ordering, your cart is kept in the browser's local storage on your own device so it survives a reload; nothing is sent to us until you place the order. Fonts may be loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser fetches a file from Google's servers and Google can see your IP address. We do not use Google Analytics or similar.

Server logs

Our servers (Render, Frankfurt) log IP address, time and requested page for operations and security. Logs are kept for at most 30 days.

Controlling cookies

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking mt_session means you cannot stay signed in to the portal.
